Competitions

We host a large number of competitions and series every season, both at amateur, junior and elite level. In addition, several competitions are organized on our courses by other players. Competing is an important part of developing your golf game and we offer a range of more social competitions to suit most people. We recommend that you sign up for one of the competitions. You can see which ones are suitable in our competition calendar.

Competition at Öijared

The competition section shall:
* give all categories, regardless of gender, age, nationality or handicap the opportunity to play competitive golf.
* arrange the club's competition program -
this includes junior competitions at national level, Wednesday golf, bear league and series play for women and men.
* be responsible for ensuring that SGF's alcohol policy is complied with in connection with competition.

District competitions

Öijared GK belongs to the Gothenburg Golf Association. On their website they list the season's current competitions in the district.

Hole in one

It doesn't happen every day. But when someone beats an HIO, we tip our hats and congratulate them. The lucky ones hand in a signed scorecard to reception and can, if they wish, register with the HIO Club. Then you'll be added to our list of all the historic HIO players at Öijared resort through the ages.
